This reminds me of the slot canyons off the side of the San Rafael Swell near Goblin Valley in eastern Utah. I remember one place where it was difficlut to get through with a backpack because the canyon was so narrow. And yet, it was several hundred feet deep! Amazing! And it made one think that it would not be nice to be in there in bad weather because if water came rushing down the canyon........!
Dan and Madeline are retired and have been traveling in a RV since July, 2000. They have four grown children, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. They travel throughout the country, spending much of their time visiting their families. Their hobbies are geneology research,
photography (Madeline), and hiking. They particularly enjoy spending their summers in west; they usualy winter in Florida.
